NEW YORK – General Motor Corp invests USD100 million to build factory in Tonowanda New York. This factory will produce diesel engine for vehicle of truck light-duty. Diesel engine 45 V-8 litres is will be able to increase fuel efficiency until 25 % and depress emission of gas karbondioksida 13 %.

General Motor also informs that machines will be applied for vehicle of truck pick up and Hummer H2 Sport Utility Vehicle which will be marketed in North America. GM tries increasing product image and improve;repairs sale number by presenting vehicle economizing fuel and area friendliness.

John Buttermore, Vice President GM for global of powertrain manufacturing tells that new machine 45 litres V-8 this diesel is basal change in machine technology applied at product GM. Its(the plan production will be started is year-end 2009 coming.

The machine will fulfill emission standard 2010 which also will be implemented in 50 other part states. “ This will become cleanest diesel engine,” said Tom Stephens Vice President GM for global of powertrain and quality.

Before all senator Hillary Rodham Clinton had written letter to GM Chief Executive Rick Wagoner and Erie County officials May then. The letter contains approval of finite sale withholding of USD350000 to produce vehicle in the factory.

Besides investing USD100 million, GM also will add invesment equal to USD41 million to buy supply of supporter for vendor to support produce of factory. 1825 workers mobilized to produce machine which will be applied at model Chevrolet Cobalt, HHR, MALIBU, Impala, and Saturn Ion.

During last 10 years, GM has invested fund equal to USD1,6 billion.
