New Ford Fiesta to be an important contributor to Ford’s achievement in reaching Europe during March 2010. Sales of Ford’s cars and trucks in 19 countries in Europe increased 16.1% to 192.500 and become the best selling brands in Europe during March, beating Volkswagen.

The increase was also higher than the industry average, 11.5% compared to same period last year.

Ford Fiesta donate 35% of all Ford sales in Europe. Ford Fiesta sold 68.000 units during March, or up 28.6% from March 2009. Fiesta to be Ford’s best selling model in Europe since the fall of 2008 was introduced. Fiesta also become the second biggest selling brand of Europe in 2009, under the Volkswagen Golf.

In the first three months of this year, Ford sales rose 9.1% in the 19 most important countries of Europe, became the 391.000 units and become the second biggest-selling brand in Europe. Despite Ford’s performance is improving, but Ford’s sales warning in Europe feared that down this year.

Therefore be anticipated reduction in production capacity. In addition, governments in European countries should provide incentives to encourage sales of commercial vehicles.

Ford Fiesta will be launched in Indonesia in recent weeks. This model will be positioned as the backbone of passenger cars sale of Ford Motor Indonesia. There are two types of hatchback and sedan that was imported intact from Thailand.
